One way to understand what Unity of Divine Creation Ministry is organized to do is to make reference to the Three Jewels of Buddhism. People who practice Buddhism are said to take refuge in the Three Jewels. They are:
- Buddha, the fully enlightened one
- The Dharma, the teachings expounded by the Buddha
- The Sangha, the monastic order of Buddhism that practice Dharmas.
To take refuge in those means to use them to help protect oneself from the inevitable suffering due to attachments to desire. The Three Jewels are viewed as protection because they are aligned with absolute reality and truth - and as such - the more we utilize them the greater chance we have of also becoming aligned with those things thereby experiencing the true happiness that comes from spiritual liberation.
Unity of Divine Creation Ministry would be the Sangha in this example; a spiritual community that supports each other in our personal growth and development. The ministry acts as a community in which each of us individually may have a safe place to connect with God (the Buddha, the Universe, etc) and seek the truth of its teachings which are not just what has been written down, but is actively being experienced, understood and integrated by us as its extension.
The ministry fosters an environment in which each of us can learn and grow. The ministry cannot do or guarantee anything or any outcomes in anyone's life as it is on each one of us as individuals to do the work which strengthens our connection to all that is and aligns our will with The Will of The Divine. The ministry and its members are here to support each other as they make their individual alignment journey.
