The Unity of Divine Creation Ministry (UDCM) is a ministry that welcomes people of all faiths. We recognize that the connection to our Creator, or all of Creation, is a personal one that needs to be established on an individual basis and our goal is to foster an environment for this to happen for the maximum benefit of all beings.
Throughout history religions have referred to our Creator as God, Allah, YHVH or other various monikers. Other systems of thought may use more generalized terms like The Universe or Supreme Creator. Some may not even believe strictly in a Creator but more of a Divine Law that all of creation operates under. The common thread is that we all acknowledge a Divine life force which is responsible for governing all of Creation.
As humans here on planet Earth, we are extensions of this supreme creative force and as such, we are endowed with its gifts and blessings to make this experience as enjoyable as possible for all beings on and off the planet. Liberty and freedom are divine rights which can ONLY be granted by the Creator. It is also a responsibility achieved by living in alignment with the Divine Will of the Creator.
As fractals of this infinite creation each of us has a unique thing to offer for the benefit of the whole. UDCM is here to support individuals on their personal path to understand what this means for them and then to help them express that for the benefit of all.
In today's world there is so much perceived division, but UDCM recognizes that this division only exists in our hearts if we allow it. We believe that there is a far superior force which is an awakening in the hearts of humanity, and the individuals experiencing their own part in this have different backgrounds, stories, and faiths. UDCM strives to provide an environment these individuals and communities can use to manifest their gifts for all of Creation to enjoy while fostering the teachings of all great spiritual teachers, leaders and prophets before us.
Our Classification as a Christian Church
For purposes of classification, Unity of Divine Creation Ministry identifies as a Christian Church as followers and believers of the teachings and wisdom of what is documented in the New Testament of the Bible as being taught by Yeshua given the title of "Christ". We do this while also holding a position that we welcome people of all faiths, and we do not discourage people from their own pursuit of truth and spiritual growth if they feel most in alignment with a set of beliefs that are not promulgated by traditional Christian church doctrines and dogma. Our understanding is that Christ is a level of ascended enlightenment and Christian means we are dedicated to achieving such an enlightened lifestyle much the same as those teachers that have come before us.
Growing up in western society influenced by Judeo-Christian ethics, we believe that the story of The Christed One, Yeshua (Jesus, Yehoshua, or any of the other names used to identify this man) provides excellent insights into the current situation of western society and culture and provides insightful guidance on how to ensure our current experience is one that works for the maximum benefit of all. For this reason, the story of Yeshua, The Christ, as told in the Christian bible and other written materials that were not included as part of it are often used to guide us on how to organize and act so that we may live our lives in alignment with The Will of The Divine.
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Matthew 22:37–39 KJV
This well-known piece of scripture especially permeates principles 3, 5, 6 and 9 in our Declaration of Understanding and Intent (our Declaration). The third principle establishes our intent to love and honor God. Five, six and nine establish our understanding to respect and love our neighbor as well as our intention to do this to honor God. And taking into account the first principle, we can also extrapolate that even those who do have faith in God but do not do so through adhering to Christian scripture, worship the same god, and as our neighbor we should love them as ourselves and welcome them into our hearts.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
- John 14:12 KJV
This strongly resonates with the ministry’s approach of taking personal responsibility. As living extensions of God we have been imbued with the power and responsibility to take on all challenges and cultivate this creation for the greatest good of all. “We are our own saviors,” and this is an especially strong statement when we also bring in the second principle in our Declaration that we exist as an extension of God. As extensions of God, we are gifted with everything we need to create Heaven on Earth. We believe that when Yeshua said this, he knew that we had all the gifts we needed, and when the time came that we needed miracles we would be able to accomplish them insofar as our wills are aligned with The Will of The Divine.
Our ministers, and members of our ministry, have formed interpretations of scripture and other spiritual texts through the lens of how we live in the world today. When looking at western society and culture through our own experience and these types of writings, we believe that if we are in alignment with The Will of The Divine we will receive inspiration in how to improve the models and organizations that run our communities and society in ways that work for the benefit of all. We do not suggest the worship God or Jesus or any other figure as deities. It is the free will choice of our members to connect with the Creator, and all extensions of it including others, nature and ourselves, with the true power of love.
There are many more explanations in addition to these two that exemplify how we appreciate the teachings of Yeshua and the Christian organizations that have helped these teachings survive through the times. Many more like these also serve as guides for us to be able to love our neighbors no matter what practices bring them close to God, and to take responsibility in our communities to create Heaven on Earth. With these founding principles, we hope that our ministry can be a welcoming place to a large congregation of people of diverse beliefs organizing for the benefit of all.
