"In some ways we exist as the crystallized thoughts of God." This thought arrived very vividly in my head recently when pondering the nature of our existence, as I often like to do. I shared it on a social media platform, and a friend asked me to elaborate on the theory; I found this to be a fun exercise in translating some of this internal monologue and thought-pattern into words to share with friends, so I wanted to reproduce it here for the ministry as well.
I think to explain this it helps to start with an analogy of a person's thoughts in their head as opposed to things in material existence. For example, in the way that I can think of having a garden as opposed to eventually taking action to make that garden a material reality.
If one applies the 'as above so below' philosophy and extrapolates this to everything in existence then I think we can imagine this threshold between what is completely unmanifest and that which is. In this theory we would take God to be either that unmanifest potential / intelligence / consciousness or maybe even something pre-existing it.
So it's almost like God has a canvas that is 'the manifest' and it decides to come up with a Law to govern this manifest creation. It then injects itself as consciousness into its manifest creation. This separation is an individuated expression which has its own free will and experience in the 'layer' of the manifest into which it was created. The individuated expression then takes action, and according to the Law it experiences effects of the action taken.
Let's imagine that at some point in this cause and effect experience the individuated consciousness decides it wants to create it's own 'game' in the manifest it also comes up with a law or laws (derived and in alignment with the one, supreme, original Law of the manifest) to govern its own creation based on its experience and understanding. It then creates something, and injects itself into its own creation as another individuated consciousness to have an experience according to that layer of reality and the laws that govern it.
Our example may extend to a single expression of consciousnesses splitting into one or dozens of individuated consciousnesses in their own layer of reality. We can also consider scenarios where multiple expressions of consciousnesses choose to co-create a consensual reality in which they agree on a general set of laws for their creation, and then they all inject themselves as one or more individuated consciousnesses into it. From here, this activity fractallizes and creates many layers of reality with many laws.
At the very highest levels, like the first split from God, it's before things like time even exist. Gradually as new layers of reality are created and laws are generated to govern them you start to get the things like direction, vibration, time, space, and matter. In a lot of new age philosophies and some more classic spiritual practices they use the phrase 'density' (or 'dimension') to describe different 'layers of reality' as I'd call it.
I may consider God's initial thought as The Law upon which to base its manifest reality. Then additional thoughts would be its extension of itself as an individuated consciousness into that manifest reality to have the desired experience. This fractallizes out resulting in a gradual densification of energy eventually resulting in matter. So I would describe this densification as crystallization for the purposes of the original thought. So we, as material beings with a consciousness that is granted a high level of free will are divine crystallizations of the thoughts of God.
